Gwyneth Doland Discusses Email Controversies with Albuquerque Press Women

Albuquerque Press Women will hear from Gwyneth Doland executive director of the Foundation for Open Government on October 8 at 11:45 a.m. at the MCM Elegante, 2020 Menaul NE.  She will discuss “Technology and Transparency” and recent controversies over the email of public servants.

Before joining the New Mexico Foundation for Open Government Gwyneth Doland was a producer and host for New Mexico in Focus and Public Square on KNME. As the editor of The New Mexico Independent, a startup online-only news site, she and her team pioneered interactive coverage of the state Legislature and won a First Amendment Award from the ACLU of New Mexico.

Doland teaches multimedia journalism at the University of New Mexico. She is a director of the Society of Professional Journalists Rio Grande Chapter and the Journalism and Women Symposium.
