Christine Sierra, professor of Political Science at UNM will speak about the Hispanic vote in the November election to Albuquerque Press Women on Monday, Dec. 10 at 11:45 a.m. at the MCM Eleganté.
Sierra, director of the Southwest Hispanic Research Institute has been a member of the UNM faculty since 1986. She teaches and conducts research in the field of American politics with a focus on race, ethnicity and gender. She is currently a principal investigator on the Gender and Multicultural Leadership Project, a national study of elected officials of color in the United States.
