Albuquerque Press Women will welcome Anne Hillerman at their June 10 luncheon.    The luncheon begins at 11:45 a.m. at the MCM Eleganté, 2020 Menaul NE.    Hillerman will discuss her debut novel, “Spider Woman’s Daughter,” a mystery set in the Southwest.  The book follows the adventures of Jim Chee, Joe Leaphorn and Bernadette Manuelito, characters made famous by her father Tony Hillerman.  In addition to the novel, Hillerman has written “Santa Fe Flavors: Best Restaurants and Recipes,” “The Insider’s Guide to Santa Fe,” “Children’s Guide to Santa Fe,” Done in the Sun,” “Ride the Wind: USA to Africa,” and “Gardens of Santa Fe.”

Hillerman has also just completed a project with her husband, photographer Don Strel for the University of New Mexico Press.  The press is preparing to reissue Tony Hillerman’s book of non-fiction essays, “The Great Taos Bank Robbery.”  She provided an introduction on the adventure of growing up as one of Hillerman’s six children.
