Albuquerque Property Crime Statistics

Are property crimes skyrocketing in the city, or does it just feel like burglars are lurking everywhere? Join Albuquerque Press Women at 11:45 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 9 at the MCM Eleganté (2020Menaul NE.)

Sharanne Press, Crime Prevention Specialist with the Albuquerque Police Departments Northeast Area Command will discuss the latest crime statistics, and share information about how not to become a victim.

Press works with neighborhood associations, and apartment complexes to help prevent criminal activity. At APD she works with administrators and detectives on statistical analysis to help pinpoint where crimes have occurred and where it may occur in the future. Press has been with the department for ten years. She has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration and a master’s in Business and Organizational Security Management.

Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting, but reservations must be made by contacting or by calling 720-7821 by Nov. 4. Cost of the lunch for members and first-time guests is $16, nonmembers $21.
